My girlfriend and I tried to rent a cabin here during Memorial Day weekend. We were not even 20 minutes away according to the GPS. This is when we came to a closed road. No problem we looked for an alternative route. The alternative route was also closed. At this point I called to cancel our cabin rental. The lady informed us we could not cancel. She said, "if it wasn't Memorial Day weekend we could cancel." Keep in mind it was pouring that day and the previous days as well. The rain was the reason the road was closed. Highly unlikely this cabin would have had anyone on such a rainy weekend/week. I also feel it was unlikely because the cabin was still available to rent the week leading into Memorial Day weekend. Her answer was to give us directions over the phone which she admitted she wasn't positive about. I also suspect she knew the road was close given the fact it was very close to the campground. A warning would have been nice espically considering we had to travel over a hour. In the end she kept $75. However she lost two customers that planned to visit regularly for years to come. Avoid this campground and check out a state park instead.
